Position Purpose:

We are looking for an Operations Manager for our Baltimore, MD location. This position will have primary responsibility for managing the operations and ensure a top quality service is delivered to our customers. This position is also responsible for developing new and creative solutions to business challenges and ever changing customer needs. The use industry related expertise and experience will be utilize to ensure continuous improvement and optimization is achieved. The Baltimore Manager must have expert knowledge in US Customs regulation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and international transportation logistics. The manager must be innovative, change oriented, customer focused, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Position Functions:

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the successful daily operation of your location and the corresponding customer needs.  Some of these duties are the supervision of employees, compliance with policies and procedures, monthly management reports, selling activities. We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual who is hands-on, has demonstrated success in developing staff, and keen business management skills as well as a strong customer focus.

Position Requirements:

The following credentials are required to fill this position:

• Extensive up-to-date industry related continuing education
• 5-10 years logistics/3PL experience
• Transportation/Warehousing/Import/Export experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to lead team cooperatively and successfully while dealing with all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to execute customer plans and Operating procedures
