BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER SALES/MANAGER

Position Purpose: The Business Development Manager/Sales Manager is responsible for, sales, forecasting and ongoing customer relationships for logistics/transportation products, solutions and services. In addition, this position will be responsible for the development and management of the corporate sales personnel. On-going market research and analysis to ensure that the optimum target markets have been clearly identified. The Business Development Manager/Sales Manager will establish and execute plans and strategies to continuously expand the customer base. The Business Development Manager/Sales Manager will collaborate with the customer on a regular basis and work with internal personnel to ensure the implementation of quality solutions that enable the delivery of optimum value to our customer’s core business.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors Degree or equivalent, related industry experience
· Minimum of 10 years in International Freight Forwarding or related field
· Minimum of 5 years outside, direct customer Management experience in International
  Freight Forwarding or related field

· Must work well with all levels of staff
· Must be able to analyze market trends and plan sales strategies accordingly

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our­­­­ team of professionals in our Baltimore office.

Position Purpose: Responsible for ensuring that all services provided to the customer are carried out on a timely basis and execution to the highest level of quality. The Account Manager will provide leadership, communication and coordination regarding the customer’s global requirements, deliverables, expectations and key performance indicators. This is a working Managers position. Hands on operational skills are required.

Job Functions:

· Daily management of the Account team including staffing requirements, training and
  periodic evaluations
· Ensure all customer SOPs are fully documented and clearly communicated
· Establish on-going communication and follow through with customers to ensure the
  highest level of service is achieved at all times
· Provide leadership in the definition, planning and execution of customer specific
  requirements and Management of account team members
· Recognize and identify potential areas where existing processes require change,
  or where new ones need to be developed, and make recommendations in these
